Inspired by the New Topographics photography movement of the 1970’s and photographers Lewis Baltz, Bernd and Hilla Becher, and Frank Gohlke, ‘Night Walks’ is a study of what happens after the sun goes down. Exploring the vast urban environments of Los Angeles, I captured the mostly unnoticed and ignored beauty of artificial light that bathes our cities at night.
